Modest Apparel USA began in Lebanon, Missouri, and is a small family-owned and operated business now based out of Hiram, Georgia. 

Why “Modest”?

“Modesty” as defined by Merriam-Webster is 

1. The quality of not being too proud or confident about yourself or your abilities
2. Propriety in dress, speech, or conduct

Here at Modest Apparel USA we believe that modesty can carry across many faiths, devotions, and cultures worldwide, and that you can still be stylish while dressing more conservatively. Our goal is to offer fashion-forward modest clothing that can appeal to anyone! 

While most of our boutique styles are imported, all garments with the Modest Apparel USA label are made from top quality fabric and are manufactured right here in the United States of America.

About the Owner:

Annette is a wife and mother with 37 years in the fashion industry, starting with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising. Her technical experience has included an internship with Madame Thibault who apprenticed along with Emanuel Ungaro under the famed Balenciaga. She also worked and studied under Bridal designer Anne Barge.

In 2006, she opened her own embroidery business, Embellished, all while raising two kids! She still owns and operates it today, expanding into a line of vinyl embellishments in recent years. Annette has always dreamed of having her own fashion business, and now that dream is a reality with Modest Apparel USA!
